The 2021 edition was originally scheduled to be held in Belfast (NIR) but was withdrawn due to funding issues. Later the Games have been awarded to Port of Spain (TTO) and should take place from 1 to 7 August 2021 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
