The 2020 edition originally scheduled for New Clark City (PHI) from 7 to 17 November 2020 was first postponed to 7 to 17 November 2021 and later to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later it was moved to 2024 and became the 2024 Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships.
